After deciding to do a themed wedding reception I started making phone calls and researching items that I would need for my event.  I only had four months.  It didn't take long to realize that some companies will not return calls to individuals, at least not in a timely manner and most companies overcharge unless you have a working relationship with them.  I knew I needed a wedding consultant.  After interviewing several wedding consultants, I realized that although I described to all of them the look and feel that I wanted, some pushed on me what THEY wanted.  Also, most had only done weddings and I wanted a much different feel than the standard wedding reception.  I knew I needed more than just a wedding consultant- I needed someone who was knowledgeable in event planning as well.  Brooke was able to take my ideas and make them come to life.  Because of Brooke's experience, she had so many creative and original ideas for songs, lighting, centerpieces, favors and even layout.  Because of Brooke's contacts, she ended up saving me thousands of dollars.  She also had incredible suggestions on where to cut costs and where it is important not to so that we could stay within our desired budget and still accomplish the wedding and reception of our dreams.  She is extremely detail oriented and she followed up on everything.  My wedding day came and it was more  beautiful than I could have ever imagined.  We had so many guests tell us what a great time they had.  I strongly suggest to anyone who is planning an event or wedding to hire Top Shelf Events.  Not only will you save time, you will save MONEY!!!!!
